Scuba Exotique Dive Training Center - Divers about to board a boat
Divers about to board their boat

Intermediate Scuba Classes:

  • OW Refresher / Reactivate: In the open water refresher class, your instructor will walk you through the open water skills while exploring a local open water dive site, to help you gain the confidence to resume diving if you have not had a chance to practice your dive skills in a while.
  •

  • Emergency First Response: In the EFR class, you will gain the knowledge, experience, and skills to perform CPR / First Aid and handle basic secondary care. If you are going on to your rescue diver / react right class, you will also practice CPR skills for in-water rescue. We offer the choice of PADI or SSI certifying agencies.
  •

  • O2 Provider: The O2 provider class teaches students how and when to administer emergency oxygen is a valuable skill to have in a dive emergency. Emergency Oxygen Provider prepares you to offer aid and teaches you to recognize scuba diving injuries and illnesses requiring emergency oxygen. This is an excellent course for scuba divers, boat crew, lifeguards, freedivers or anyone who spends time in and around water. No age restrictions or water sessions required. We offer the choice of PADI or SSI certifying agencies.
  •

  • Rescue Diver / React Right: The Rescue Diver / React Right course is one of the most demanding and rewarding courses offered. The course encompasses general first aid and CPR techniques and under the guidance of one of our experienced instructors teaches students how to apply those techniques to a diving related injury. Students also learn techniques for conducting underwater search and recovery operations, in-water rescue breathing, exiting unconscious victims from the water, and managing accident scenes. The Rescue Diver / React Right course also helps to develop skills such as self-rescue and situational awareness that will prevent accidents from happening. The Rescue Diver / React Right courses are prerequisites for both the Master SCUBA Diver rating and the Divemaster rating. We offer the choice of PADI or SSI certifying agencies.
  •

  • Master Scuba Diver: The master scuba diver certification means that you have achieved the skills, and gained the experience to be one of the best divers in recreational scuba diving and live the dive life as a Master Scuba Diver. The Master Scuba Diver rating places you in an elite group of respected divers who have earned this rating through both significant experience and scuba training. Fewer than two percent of divers ever achieve this rating. When you flash your Master Scuba Diver card, people know that you've spent time underwater in a variety of environments and had your share of dive adventures. It should be the goal of every diver, who is at least 12 years old, to become a Master Scuba Diver.
The path to becoming a Master Scuba Diver starts with earning your Open Water Diver certification, followed by an Advanced Open Water Diver and Rescue Diver / React Right (or qualifying certifications). You also need to earn five Specialty Diver certifications and have logged a minimum of 50 dives to apply for a Master Scuba Diver rating. We offer the choice of PADI or SSI certifying agencies.
