Advanced Open Water Diver Class

In the Advanced Open Water class, under the guidance of an experienced instructor, you will gain the knowledge, experience, and skills to:

Boat Diver Class

If you’re new to boat diving or want to learn more about diving from different types of boats, enroll in the Boat Diver course. During two dives with your instructor, you will learn nautical terminology, boat diving etiquette and may practice using lines and/or deploy a surface marker buoy (SMB). Your instructor will help you gain the skills to dive off a boat, to help you access dive sites around the world! The class fee includes one 2-tank boat charter booking per student. You can pick the certifying agency of your choice: PADI or SSI.

Discover Scuba Class

The SSI Try Scuba / PADI Discover Scuba programs are the best way to try scuba diving for the first time. You will be in confined water and well looked after by your instructor, so you can enjoy those first unforgettable breaths underwater and experience the magic of scuba diving. At the end of this short course, you will have earned your SSI Try Scuba or PADI Discover Scuba recognition and undoubtedly want to go diving again. Drysuit Diver Class

Course fee does not include drysuit rental Description: Want to stay warm? Want to extend your scuba diving season? Then dive dry. A dry suit seals you off from the water and keeps you comfortable, even in surprisingly cold water. There is incredible diving in the world’s cooler regions and in some areas, conditions are even better in colder months. Becoming a dry suit diver allows you to expand your boundaries and dive more places, more often. Prerequisite: If you are at least 10 years old and certified as a (Junior) Open Water Diver or higher, you can enroll in the Dry Suit Diver course. Academics: The first thing you will discover is which dry suit style and accompanying undergarments are right for you and the diving you will do. Then you will learn how to take care of your dry suit. During two dives, in addition to a confined water dive, you will practice:

Putting on and taking off your dry suit with minimal assistance,
Mastering buoyancy control using your dry suit,
Dive safety procedures when using a dry suit.

You may be able to get college credit for the Dry Suit Diver course – ask your instructor about earning credit. Equipment: Clearly a dry suit is necessary along with your basic scuba equipment. Your instructor or dive center staff will explain other gear or equipment options you may need to dive comfortably with your dry suit. For example, because you’re more buoyant in a dry suit than in a wetsuit, you may want a different weight system setup. You can pick the certifying agency of your choice: PADI or SSI.

Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver Class

In the Nitrox / Enriched Air Diver class, you are taught the procedures to dive EAnx up to 40% safely and responsibly. You can pick the certifying agency of your choice: PADI or SSI.

Equipment Specialist Class

Don't miss a dive due to minor issues with your scuba diving equipment. Whether it's a missing o-ring, wetsuit tear or a broken fin strap, our PADI Equipment Specialist / SSI Equipment Technique courses teach you how to manage basic repairs and adjustments. You will learn how your gear works, making you more comfortable with it and better prepared to take care of your investment. If you are at least 10 years old and certified as a (Junior) Scuba Diver or higher, you can enroll in the Equipment Specialist course. You can pick the certifying agency of your choice: PADI or SSI.

Open Water Diver Class

If you want to dive anywhere you want, with anyone you want, join the Open Water Diver program. This is your international certification to become part of an exclusive group of underwater explorers that most people only dream about joining! Learning to dive is much easier than you think. This globally recognized certification program is the best way to begin your lifelong adventures as a certified scuba diver. Personalized training is combined with in-water practice sessions to ensure you have the skills and experience required to become truly comfortable underwater. You will earn the SSI Open Water Diver certification. The Open Water Diver is the first scuba certification level. One of our highly-trained instructor will teach you how to scuba dive in a relaxed, supportive learning environment. By the end of the course, you will have the skills and knowledge to dive at home or abroad and explore the underwater world. You will practice using scuba gear in a pool (or pool-like environment) until you are comfortable. Your training includes practice "mini dives" to help you build confidence in your new abilities before making four dives in open water. Facts And Training Standards:

Pool/Confined Water Sessions: 5/6

Depth: most dives are shallow 12m/40ft, the maximum allowed training depth is 18m/60ft

Peak Performance Buoyancy Diver Class

The Peak Performance Buoyancy / Perfect Buoyancy specialty is the best way to improve your buoyancy and get the most from every dive. Buoyancy is an essential dive skill, but any diver will tell you it takes time to perfect. The Peak Performance Buoyancy / Perfect Buoyancy specialty will teach you advanced buoyancy skills and techniques, so you can master your buoyancy more quickly and enjoy more relaxed dive adventures. In this fascinating program, you will also learn new skills that protect the environment and work in every diving situation. Upon completion, you will earn the PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy or SSI Perfect Buoyancy Specialty certification. With better buoyancy skills, you will soon be able to hover with ease and take the underwater photographs you dream of! After purchasing this course, don't forget to come by to pick up your course materials before class! Scuba Refresher Class

In the refresher class, your instructor will walk you through the open water skills to help you gain the confidence to resume diving if you have not had a chance to practice your dive skills in a while.
